About

Built by a prop trader,
for prop firm traders.

The problem

Generic journals ignore the thing that actually kills prop traders.

Every trading journal can tell you your win rate. Almost none of them know what a trailing drawdown is, when your daily loss limit resets, or that your firm won't pay out until you've traded eight days without breaching consistency. But those are the rules that end prop accounts — not a bad win rate.

If you trade evaluations and funded accounts, the firm's rulebook is your real risk model. A journal that doesn't track it is journaling the wrong thing.

The thesis

Process over outcome.

TradeIndex is the journal that doesn't care if you made money. It cares if you got better. Every trade gets a Process Score — five binary checks (A+ setup, sized per plan, stop respected, inside your session, journaled honestly) graded A through F, completely independent of P&L.

A green day where you broke your rules is a warning. A red day where you followed every one of them is progress. Most journals grade the first day an A and the second an F. We think that's backwards.

Today

What TradeIndex is right now.

A trading journal plus a prop firm rules engine: rule templates for 14 futures prop firms, a live drawdown floor chart, payout and consistency tracking, eval-cost ROI across every account you've bought, and auto-sync from Tradovate and Rithmic so trades log themselves.

It's built by one person — a prop trader who wanted this tool to exist and got tired of waiting. It's early, it's focused, and it will stay focused: futures prop firm traders only. Everyone else can use a generic journal.
