Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of TradeIndex. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Who we are
TradeIndex (“TradeIndex,” “we,” “us”) is a trading journal and prop firm account management tool operated at tradeindex.ai. When these terms say “the service,” they mean the TradeIndex website, web app, and any related integrations we provide.
2. Your account
You need an account to use most of TradeIndex. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us atsupport@tradeindex.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. TradeIndex is not a broker and does not give advice
TradeIndex is a journaling and account management tool. We are not a broker, futures commission merchant, registered investment adviser, or commodity trading advisor. Anything the service displays -- including analytics, scores, coaching text, AI-generated commentary (“Atlas”), rules-status checks, and prop firm rule summaries -- is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. All trading decisions are yours alone.
4. Trading risk
Futures and forex trading carries substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor. You could lose all -- or more than -- your initial investment. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Prop firm rules can change at any time and TradeIndex’s rules-status checks may lag those changes. 5. Broker and prop firm connections
You can connect brokerage accounts (currently Tradovate and Rithmic-backed platforms) to TradeIndex. When you connect an account you authorize us to receive trade fills, positions, balance, and account metadata on your behalf. We store broker credentials encrypted at rest and use them only to keep the connection alive. You can disconnect a broker at any time from the Settings → Connections page. TradeIndex does not place, modify, or cancel orders on your behalf.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service; (b) use the service to violate any law or any prop firm’s terms; (c) share credentials that don’t belong to you; (d) use the service to attack, probe, or overload our infrastructure or third-party APIs; or (e) upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on someone’s rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing cycles, and refund policies are shown at checkout. Unless we say otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period. We may change prices for future billing cycles with reasonable advance notice.
8. Your content
You own the trade data, notes, screenshots, journal entries, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate the service for you. We will not sell your content or use it to train third-party AI models. If you delete your account, we delete your content per Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
9. Our intellectual property
The TradeIndex name, logo, product interface, code, and documentation are ours. You may access and use them only as the service permits. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in our IP beyond that.
10. No warranty
TradeIndex is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data shown (including broker fills, balances, or rules-status) will always be accurate or timely. Broker connections can drop, third-party APIs can go down, and network delays can cause missed or late data. Always verify critical information directly with your broker or prop firm.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeIndex is not liable for any lost profits, lost trading opportunities, missed prop firm rule violations, or indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify TradeIndex against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of a third party’s rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required by law, give you notice inside the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
